The Employee Update (December)

It has been some time since the last update and we would like to share some information about the latest development. We're actively working on The Employee Update, which will be the second major content update and is ought to release this December. There will be new jobs for the employees, training courses are implemented, new customization options, and much more cool stuff. Below are a few sneak-peeks.

Steam Cloud support

Star Chef Simulator now supports the Steam Cloud to store saves across devices (This is currently limited to Windows users and does not work across different platforms).

More customization options

We're adding multiple new decoration & customization options for your restaurant.

New cleaning mechanics + employee jobs

Wish, wish, wish - we unlocked the toilet rooms!🧽🫧But not only you'll have to clean!

New feature: shopping cart presets

Tired of rearranging your shopping cart? With the new shopping cart presets, you can easily save your order as a preset and insert it whenever it's needed.

New feature: employee training courses

You can now send your employees to training courses so they improve their skills.

Hallo @DivisionSoftware, Danke für die Antwort auf meine Bewertung. zu den Bugs im Tutorial.... Ich wollte die Kiste nach der Bestellung von der Palette nehmen. Da keine Taste angezeigt wurde, habe ich getestet und aus Versehen einen der Artikel aus der Kiste genommen. Ich konnte die Kiste dann zwar mitnehmen und am vorgesehenen Punkt ablegen, aber ich konnte keinen der Artikel in den Kühlschrank legen. Ich habe versucht mit der Kiste auf den Kühlschrank zu klicken um alles auf einmal abzulegen. H...

Update v0.2.6.2 is now available! Check out numerous changes and improvements, including balancing and bug fixes.

Bug Fixes:

Fixed startup difficulty personalization widget icons showing not correctly
Fixed bug of time skipping tooltip showing up in tutorial when skipping time

Improvements:

"Items can fall" option now changes with difficulty preset
Decreased probability of light flickering event
Removed Halloween event

It's Halloween in Star Chef Simulator! Cook the new Pumpkin Soup dish, deal with uninvited guests and enjoy the spooky Halloween atmosphere. Have fun!

Fixed bug of customers not reacting to items on table
Fixed weird texture UV of burger bun slices
Fixed items falling out of crockery when physics still simulated
Fixed wrong Walter audio playing in tutorial
