Rogue Night 0.6.4 Update

22 Feb

New Features:

Added an intro video when starting a new game.
Added a link to the Grey November Games Website[greynovembergames.com] at the title screen.
Updated the tutorial system, to now draw mouse and keyboard controls on the screen.
Added a fox NPC that guides the character through the tutorial quests.
The tutorial quests can no longer be skipped.
Made minor changes to the quest journal.
Updated gamepad controls to closer match the mouse and keyboard controls, making them feel less clunky.

Bug Fixes:
- Fixed a bug where goblin hands would crash the game upon loading a save.
- Fixed a bug that would not enable permadeath mode when starting a new game from non-permadeath mode, and vice-versa.
- Balanced enemy count in the Old Mine.

DEMO Feedback

If we can use our cursor to aim at things— and we should be able to, really —don't make our cursor invisible. Permanent death games are total trash. This, alone, is 100% reason enough to not Wishlist this game.

Control Scheme (QoL Suggestion)

May you please add rotating with the cursor, like facing whereever you move the mouse as an optional control scheme? might just be preference but should really be the main way IMO I find facing/turning with WASD very unnatural feeling.

XBOX AND SPANISH

This game has incredible potential. To give you greater ""visibility"" among the player communities, as a suggestion, a translation would be great, even if only of texts, into Spanish (second most spoken language in the world and with a large community of potential customers) and ""difficulty levels"" would also be interesting for ""clumsy"" players like me (I hate ""souls""). .. . Of course also, bringing this game to XBOX, with a ""full"" xbox controller setup would be fantastic, even when there are no s...
