i like story and strohl is bestest

i think you should make better dungeons next time >_< 1st one was good and 4th i didnt have problem with like others but others and side dungeons a bit iffy :(( and have the class system be more meaningful in endgame

Metaphor: ReFantazio is my first time playing through a Persona/Shin Megami Tensei-like game, my closest previous title being Dragon Quest XI, and I must say I was duly impressed with Metaphor: ReFantazio for its solidly well-written story and characters—all voiced immaculately in either English or Japanese, though the former suffering a tad when it came to the dubbing of animated cutscenes, noticeably.

The characters are all well thought out and integrate nicely into the story without feeling too overforced or incoherently implemented, but still allowing for a varied roster in a fun way—allowing you to make sensible adjustments to your liking through the game's archetype system.

Though I did run into a small hiccup where, later in the game, I tried applying the Warlock passive (which gives +30% max MP) to my Elemental Master character instead of the base skill for this class (which grants +15% max MP), yet somehow ended up with less MP in total. This may be due to a kink in the system or simply me misinterpreting something, but it shows that not all is 100% self-evident in the game.

The gameplay itself is mostly fun and challenging, but I seemed to constantly find myself underleveled—even up until the final boss—at which point the fight became so tedious due to stat checking that I found myself saddened by the fact that, even though I’d done all missions and gotten all the story XP, they had expected me to grind levels in dungeons that just began to feel repetitive and stale because of it.

The music for the game is absolutely amazing, paired with stunning visuals that, although feeling a bit graphically outdated, still have some great moments. In spite of it all, it made parts of the game feel very reminiscent of Fire Emblem Three Houses to me.

If not for the gameplay, then I’d definitely recommend it for a good story and music.

This is the JRPG I knew once was, having story rich with political and social issue but still enjoyable with great animation. As a working adult with little time to play game, I can ensure this game can still be enjoyable as the grinding is not that time consuming and still `fun`. The `Atlus` Aspect of `SMT-ish` and `Persona-ish` is also having strong nuance in this game.

totally worth the money and time 10/10 (Haven't finished the story yet)
