From there, you set off on adventures that reveal the stories of your crewmates in a world of pirate legends. Each mission takes place in a different location the streets of London, the canals beneath the city, Treasure Island, and more. During missions, you gather gold and resources used to upgrade your character and boost the crew’s morale. This lets you enter the next mission better prepared. You can replay missions as many times as you want, since enemies and loot are randomized.

What truly matters is that Franco is part of a much bigger legend one he doesn’t understand yet, but will uncover over time. For now, the only thing he knows is that, for some reason, every time he dies… he goes back in time.

So: pirate myths, a brutal atmosphere, and a world that might not be worth saving.
