im stuck at the part where it says investigate the light and then there's the room that says come find me and it ask for a key well i cant find the key have been looking for almost 2 hours . where is the key?

Ok, where is it? I finished the first section and didn't find anything, and just want to know where it may be before I go ahead and play the rest of the game again.
