We are so happy for the Love we are getting from the gaming community, both through their Kickstarter support, their gameplay on their channels, or in their effort in spreading the word about my indie game. A few simple (I hope!) adjustments

I tried the demo and enjoyed both the navigation mechanics (a LOT) and what could be an interesting and original storyline. A few things would have been better IMHO: 1) provide slider bar for sounds/music; there are no controls to adjust within the game; 2) when looking at my inventory, items are cut off significantly (my laptop's resolution is 2560x1600) which might impede my progress/visibility later on. KICKSTARTER ANNOUNCEMENT!!!

THIS IS GOING TO BE EPIC!!!

We have finally took the step to create a Kickstarter campaign. After seeing the love we got from many events Like Pax Australia and Gamescom Asia, to name a few, we wanted to make sure the game will look better before the release. The campaign is aimed to secure funds for more voice actors, more art, and for localization into many languages, so that we can include as many people from around the world and have them experience the story from where the first stories were written.

We are planning some amazing rewards for backing the game, things you will wish to have on your desk... or your resume, like the Royal game or Ur (The oldest board game in history), some Mesopotamian artifacts, the art book for the game, bringing YOU in the game, and my personal favorite, the emotional story puzzle book, My Father Promised, which is like a DLC in a book. There will be an early bird... Valentine discount for early backers who wish to get the game before anyone else.

Also, we have amazing Stretch goals. Getting the last stretch will secure funds to create an actual DLC for the game.

It's Steam Next Fest... during Spooktober, my favorite month!

Join me on the first day, and on Friday the 13th (As I said, Spooktober), and see me talk about my indie game, how the project almost didn't continue, about the inspiration behind the story, about the voice actress, and just some good old rambling. Demo Feedback

Though it was only a short Demo, it definitely gave me the sense that the ground work of a mystery and a story was being laid. I enjoyed how the story was mixed in with (what I assume is) real life Mesopotamian history. I also enjoyed the voice over, but there could have been a lot more of her reading things. I do have some criticisms. 1) The graphics can do with a slight touch up. They don't have to be at a ultra high def resolution, but some of the walls and floors could be made a little nicer to look at...
