I love the game how it is. But.. Even if I had to pay for it (which I would gladly do), some more choices for backgrounds would be cool. Like that outer space one that I saw on YouTube that isn't in the game as far as I know. And some outside ones that brighten the board more. Maybe a goth-style coffee shop with windows & neon lights - look outside and see the sun setting.. The problem why nearly all of the PGN's dont work with fritz, lichess (AND EVERY OTHER PROGRAM) is the FALSE (too short) notation. In my example (see screenshot below) there are two connected rooks on the baseline, which BOTH can reach "e1" because there's no piece between them. But Progress Chess creates the notation in the PGN: "Re1" instead of the correct notation "Rae1". So no PGN-reading program knows which of the two rooks move to "e1" and the move is skipped when applying the PGN in Arena, Fritz, ...

The kids in this game are making absolutely brilliant moves on the chess board that always seem to be well thought out and meticulously strategized. They hardly ever make a mistake. I've never seen any kid these days that plays like that. Come on... let's get some more realism here. Please adjust the difficulty so that the game is more accessible for beginners....

You're using forward slashes for dates in your game save naming convention. These are reserved characters on Windows and other Unix file systems, you can't use them in filenames. So when you export a PGN, it's invalid and must be renamed. Not sure how this got through even the most basic feature test....
