can't play

I only got through only 5 extremely short levels.
In those few levels I was disoriented, confused, and annoyed.
If you want the short version: DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!

below is the long version with every grueling detail:
The first 'level' was ok, although you can't really mess up walking through a portal after having a cube placed on a button for you.
The second gave me an orange only portal gun, which is fine. I would have preferred blue cause left click is better, but whatever. Then to 'solve' this puzzle you must place a portal on the wall and walk through it and walk as fast as you can so the 4 turrets pointing at the exit don't kill you. I could be wrong, but I'm fairly certain they had some kind of weird physics event happen that pushed me towards the exit just to make it possible.
the third level had me go through a series of fling, but in a small space. If you've used the level builder in portal 2 the corridor is made of the cubes you can cut out, which is very small (to portals side by side in each direction). In this level they had to move the floor to allow you to actually complete one of the flings. Why wasn't it already lowered? well if you fall down it (which I did due to the poor level geometry) you can't actually aim back to the previous portal wall. This was all very disorienting because the camera rotates to the correct orientation V E R Y S L O W L Y, such that you are still waiting for it nearly a full second after you have landed. This caused me to back track at least 3 different times.
The forth level gave me the dual portal gun. They accomplished this by making me jump over a pit with no way out (no blue portal was placed) to a small ledge, telling me not to fall. It would have been *ok* if it was a goo pit cause I would respawn, but even that isn't a real solution here. That's it. That was the whole level. Why didn't I just go to the exit right away? because it was closed. how did I open it? by getting to gun.
I only did the first half of the first level before I stopped. But that half had me do the following: fling from the ground up to the second 'level' (half way up a pile of blocks), which was actually fine. Then I turn around expecting to fling up the the third level, but nope. I don't have enough momentum. I attempted this 5 times because I had this problem before on the tight corridor level, but to no avail. I then got 2 "tips" in a dialog box, not even from narration or anything telling me to try turning off portal funneling (if you don't know the game magically lines you up with portals on the floor) stating it will make it harder but help conserve momentum, the other was, and I quote, "If that made your life too hard then try pressing w while going through the portal." Neither of them helped. The solution I found was to use the panel that for some reason extended off the wall and was angled downward. Not use it as my portal exit, but to stand on the thin, top edge of it and jump off that higher position into my floor portal to fling.
