v0.23.0 - Quality of Life

It's my birthday and so I've got a birthday update full of quality of life improvements and tuning. Along with some bugfixes, this patch focuses on tuning each character's numbers a bit to make them more consistent and enjoyable, namely:

- Commando's upgrades seemed to vary wildly in terms of power. This update makes her upgrades more comparable, so that your choices can make more of an impact.
- Edge was fun, but a little hard to control. These number changes should make her easier to handle and more fair.
- Tempest wasn't able to compete at the same level as the other characters. This update should give Tempest some more survivability and killing power.

In addition, this patch adds a UI rework to make things cleaner and easier to read, hope you like it!

[BUG][FIXED] Commando Perks Cause Game to Stall

Thanks to BigBhalu, we've found a bug where getting stacks in some of Commando's tiers causes the game to not start properly. I'm currently working on a fix!

- Removed the teleport that happens after you finish the Payload mission, as it was crashing the game. I'll find a better way to transition you between rooms in the future.

v0.22.0 - New Ability Kits!

Hey there Runners, I've got a huge update to share:

Revamped kits: Each character is having their kit revamped to give you more options, more build paths, and hopefully more fun. New kits means new upgrades and new perks.
Instead of gaining XP automatically from killing enemies, now you'll have to pick up XP orbs that they drop on death. XP orbs disappear after a while, so you'll need to scoop up what you can. It's my hope that the risk of collecting XP will bring some more intensity and variety to your runs.
Enemies will now sometimes drop power-ups when they die. Pick one up before it disappears and you'll get a cool bonus!
Fixing a few bugs here and there, as well as some quality of life improvements that I hope make things more smooth.

Free demo players will see the changes for Commando, but only people who own the full game will see the updates to Edge and Tempest!

I can't wait to hear what you think of the changes, your feedback goes a long way towards making this game better.

[BUG] [FIXED] Room 5 (Wrecking Ball) Infinite XP

Thanks to ItsNeadinoo, I've seen that there's an infinite XP bug in the Wrecking Ball room. It's up to you if you want to exploit it, but I'll be working on a fix as soon as I can!

Been trying out edge in the v0.20.2 build. Wanted to share my approach for Edge Edge Lord Gameplay Getting kills If you listen to your therapist, you know there's power in being Vulnerable. This build rushes Vault surges and for kills generally relies on: Vault --> Run Through to score kills early. Edge Character Discussion

Edge has entered Running Riot! This character is way different than Commando. While Commando appears to be much stronger, Edge has some really interesting combos. We're gonna try some updates to Edge's abilities and see how that suits her. It'd be great to increase the difficulty of the game overall, but without having to resort to nerfs....
