The Jig Is Up!

I wanted to officially announce that we will be attending a convention and will be showing off the game in an early demo.

What does this mean for you?

A FREE EARLY DEMO WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR EVERYONE ON AUGUST 9TH!

We are super excited to not only show off the game at the convention but for everyone to see the kind of procedural world we are building.

This demo is small since it needed to be done before our due date but we will ensure that the game's foundation has hit all the correct marks. We want good feedback so that we can make the foundation as perfect as it can be before going into full development time.

We are so thankful for every one of our supporters and players. We cannot wait to give you a taste of what we have been working so hard for.

Oh my... demo is awful

Wow... yeah... demo is really bad. Couldn't uninstall fast enough.

This demo uninstalled my will to live.

TL;DR This feels like a 1st-year student project. The controls were unresponsive, the character felt floaty, doors wouldn't open if there was a monster within 3 feet of it, forcing me to attempt killing it through said door. The monsters also seem to be able to attack infinitely within about half a second or less, not giving any openings for attacking without getting hurt. The UI often doesn't close properly when interacting with chests, at least once a room generated with a clearly visible seam in the wal...
