It feels really, terribly, incredibly off balance when you go from a few 3000 strength enemies to 8 7777 enemies, and ALL of their units, despite being a tech tier lower than you and more cumbersome move 3x faster than you. I went into the "last war" in Originium with 36,000 people, for an effective strength of around 111,000 units. I am losing this war hand over fist, because the enemy moves faster and spawns faster than my synthetic or native armies....
