Do the tutorials to understand the fundamentals, play with the character that fits your personality, and do some combo trials before jumping online. Otherwise you'll be eaten alive with excruciating pain for free. After this learn to adapt with gameplay online then get rewarded....

Seems like there's nobody online despite 500 players (Steamcharts) and this game's apparently being actively supported via season pass or something. Did I make a mistake getting this on sale? Is this a dead game/discord only game? Not that I'd win against anyone anyway. There's already a skill gap and I haven't even gotten to do too much online....
