Hi everyone,

It has already been almost 5 months since the release of Invertigo. We are so happy to see people enjoying the game (and battle each other for the speed running records). We are back with another update to Invertigo with some big changes such as an overhaul of the pressure plates and improvements to the movement mechanics. We hope you enjoy!

• The pressure plate mechanics have been overhauled to fix the pressure plate jank for once and for all and make their behaviour more predictable.

• Parkour mechanics have been improved with the implementation of Coyote time, allowing the player to jump shortly after running off a platform.

• Other small tweaks to player movement code, largely related to grounding and standing still on slopes or mantling.

• Added button to clear all progress.

• Added V-sync toggle.

• Mouse jitter has been reduced.

• The framerate is now unlocked instead of capped at 240 fps.

• Fix janky mantling mechanic while gravity switching.

• Fix the bug that causes the credits to play while loading another level after finishing the final level.

• Fix a bunch of out-of-bounds bugs and janky collisions in Recreational Area, Water Management and Emergency Storage.

• Improved performance while standing on movers.

• Fixed bug where scoreboard did not function properly if two people had the same steam name.

• Improved performance in Reactor and Water Management.

• Fixed a severe performance bug involving movers, mostly noticeable with the elevator in the first level.

• Use IL2CPP for building the project, should result in slightly improved performance in some cases.

• Switch to forward renderer instead of deferred.

• Enable dynamic resolution for all quality levels.

• Enable MSAA anti-aliasing for all quality levels.

• Gravity shift camera is now properly untied from the FPS

• Gravity shift camera stabilization can be configured with a slider in the input tab

• Minimized mouse overshooting upper and lower bounds, for those fast flicks

• Added FPS limit slider in options

• Updated to new InputSystem version, which means:

• You can now bind scroll up/down to anything!

• Binding 'E' wasn't working before, it works now, so you can play with ESDF :)

• Fixed level transition flash sometimes being missing

• Use 'Medium' quality preset as default

• Restart Level can now be bound to a key

• Fix music retriggering when entering and leaving airlock

• The spawn limit of the cans in Coffee Break and Recreational Area has been increased. We won't reveal how high it is now...
