Here's a mod to fix the FPS cap issues with this game. By default, the VSync locks the game at half refresh rate (so, on 60 hz monitor you get 30 FPS and on 144hz you get 72 FPS). I changed the VSync mode so it's capped at display's refresh rate. I also changed the animation framerate to match the display framerate, as before it was capped at 30. Before the patch, the game would just show me a black screen at startup. After the first patch the game now starts properly (although the Izanagi Games logo doesn't show up) but when an specific point in the story is reached the game once again gets stuck in a permanent black screen. The only way to exit is to press ALT-F4.
