10 Dead Doves is a must-play for low-poly horror fans ready for jump scares, comedic dialogue, and an open mind for how to navigate being a good person in less-than-ideal situations.

This game is obviously a passion project and I really liked the beginning of the game when it's two friends with good chemistry solving a mystery, but then it goes completely off the rails. Maybe I just don't get Lynchian storytelling as there was pretty much no point I could follow what was happening. Most of the game is a series of disconnected scenes with melodramatic heavy handed writing. More incoherent than deep.

The first time I played this it was thanks to the "Spectral Mall" Haunted PS1 collection a couple of years ago. There was a friend with me and we were live streaming it and we were simply delighted and surprised by the whole quality and mood of it. So I've added this to my wishlist and waited. Then on the 13 of December I've stepped out of an airplane and got an email about its release! The moment I got home I purchased it without thinking twice.

After playing through it, I can say I really enjoyed the new elements which were added the prologue and the rest of the story! The best moments are probably the ones were Marcus and Sean are together, but of course there's more to discover and witness here. The music, the graphics and pacing are really well thought!

There's a couple of things I've noticed during my playthrough which I would like to share with the team:

- Sometimes the voices of the characters are hard to hear. I don't know if this due to the ingame spatialisation or because the voice takes weren't all normalised at the same loudness, but either way maybe a pass about this matter could increase the overall quality of the adventure.
- In the last third, there's a lot of focus about the "research center" and although it sure gives more insight about the place sometimes I thought it was developing elements which weren't really that important at the expense of extra bits of the protagonist's past. But maybe it's just me.

- Now this is a sort of bug. The game really likes to override your Graphics settings whenever you launch it or load a game (in my case it goes back to High for everything).
- Marcus got stuck once in the "submarine level" where you have to pick one of the statues when I interacted with the one to the right, read the text and then dismissed it.

But again, overall all, I bet this was quite the effort to put together and I'd like to thank anyone who invested their time and passion into this!
