Don't waste materials

Don't waste masterials is not working, tried everything. Played the game from the start multiple times without wasting materials and it still doesn't unlock

i cant get to stage 10

After i finish stage 9 it doesnt allow me to start stage 10

I don't need coal

I'm on chapter 2. It keeps saying I need coal when crafting 30 spears. I don't need coal so why is it asking for coal? Update: now on chapter 3 and it's doing it again. I'm crafting bows I don't need coal so why is it saying I need coal to craft them? EDIT: seems like closing the game and starting the chapter over fixes the problem. But, that's just silly to have to close the game after every chapter. I'm on chapter 4 and it asked for coal again....
