To celebrate we are publishing our most current build of the Scrap Seas Demo to Steam for free! This version of the demo we would previously only share with publishers or at select conventions will now be open to the public starting September 16th (next Monday).
If you have already played our old demo, its definitely worth checking out this update. It's an entirely new experience. Please be sure to tell your friends and wishlist!
We have 5 Pete The Placeholder Duck enamel pins that we will mail to the first 5 people to post a video of themselves successfully completing a run on HARD MODE on the new build.
Will allow your ship to dive underwater for a period of time where you will be immune to most attacks. You will then rise back up to the surface and take your enemies by surprise!
Will emit a large field of lightning that will rapidly fill the paralysis meter of all the enemies around you.
Buzz Saws
Electric Spikes
There have also been several tweaks to UI and controls that should improve quality of life.
We just released a new special ability for Scrap Seas. "Magnetic Mines" will now appear in the shop. Unlike regular mines, they are attracted to nearby enemies and will travel to ships within a certain radius.
