I bought this game for the nostalgia and to relive a part of my childhood. I put the difficulty in “veteran” initially. Was getting slapped up. One shot kill from enemy AI every single time. Restarted and switched to “recruit” and wouldn’t you know it, same problem. One shot enemy AI kills every single time. Anyone else have this problem? I remember this game a lot more fondly but replaying it today I get instakilled the second I pop out from cover to take a shot and the friendly AI are incapable of taking care of themselves on a fundamental level.
