The movement mechanics are alright, with jumping feeling surprisingly satisfying. However, aside from that, the experience feels quite lackluster. The puzzles themselves are far from challenging, making the game more of a short, casual experience than an engaging one. The entire game can be completed in under an hour, offering a very quick playthrough.

The narrative of Dofamine revolves around exploring a “labyrinth of riddles” while investigating a post-apocalyptic event. Unfortunately, the story's resolution is rather underwhelming, culminating in an unsatisfying or even disappointing ending that fails to leave a meaningful impression.

Overall, Dofamine feels poorly constructed, even when adjusting for its low expectations. It’s the type of game you’d expect to find for free, but it’s unfortunately not priced as such. The standalone price of €39.99 is, frankly, laughable given the game's limited content. The only slight justification for its purchase would be if it were included in a “Mega Savings” bundle, though even then, it hardly seems worth the cost.

In summary, Dofamine is a mediocre experience that lasts for about an hour before it’s completed. The standalone price is excessive, and even having paid just €1 on a third-party platform, I still feel somewhat duped. Wouldn't recommend.

For $40 and being a very short puzzle game, it’s definitely not worth it. The visuals are very nice though. Thank god I got this game for $5 from a five random steam keys code on G2A
