I got to the part in the story where I picked up the zircon. Arisa said that she should talk to Derk and head back to the ship. The quest marker updated and I went back to the ship but nothing was happening. I went into the ship and could only upgrade abilities but nothing else. I went around and explored the rest of the maps to see if I missed anything to no avail. Am I missing something or has my game bugged?...

I didn't make it very far in the game, because it seemed as if dash and double jump abilities were bugged. I play using an XBox controller and expected those abilities to unlock during the tutorial phase, but nope. Am I supposed to carry on further to unlock them, and pick up the items I couldn't reach later on (on one of the many times I'll die)? Love the art style and game premise, looking forward to reaching those tricky places soon :D...
