Anyway the sound of those little alien squid worm things can be patched to something different and / or turned down a bit? This is probably one of my favorite games available on Steam (owned the original and this re-release) but I started streaming some runs of it on Twitch and that particular sound effect is oh-so shrill. More when it stacks up and plays multiple times simultaneously (i.e. killing a whole throng of them at once..) Anyway just some random musing on the idea. I'll still play, stream, and ...
