Not sure if three is the maximum lives. If it isn't perhaps just the ship icon and then an 'x' and then a number to indicated the lives.

you have three buttons: accessories, guns, and exit. If you click on guns and don't want anything, you can't click on accessories and go back to accessories, you can only click on exit.

Is there a guide anywhere to let me know what all the power-ups are? It's all a guessing game.
