Nothing changed in the Settings is saved when game is restarted.

Three straight runs I've experienced clipping through the floor, falling endlessly out of bounds and forcing early termination of the run. You may want to put a fix for this higher up in your priorities list. A sanity pass on level generation to make sure no clipping problems exist before loading the player in would be a good thing....
