I enjoy how it makes me think of Stardew Valley but for a tavern. Its nice to see how far this game has come for such a small team. Looking forward to more content.

TLDR: What is here is good, but there isn't much here.

Comparisons to Stardew are founded and I think the big difference here is that there is no Community Centre objective which gives you something to aim for and forces you out into a range of activities (farming, gathering, fishing, mining). Instead you only have two progression systems; reputation and money.

If you play smart, you can quite easily reach the 'end' of the game in under 20 hours when you hit anywhere from rank 15 to 20, you'll have all the recipes you could want and content unlocks become non-existent. At that point the only progression is making money to make a larger tavern to make more money.

There is a main story coming, but its a 'become the king of the kingdom by being the best tavern keeper' story which immediately makes me lose interest, I would rather be a nobody who just wants to run a comfy tavern.

If you love Stardew valley you will love this game.
