EasySave Backup Update 1.32

With EasySave Backup version 1.32 it is now possible to have even more control over your saves. Using advanced recovery you can choose which files to restore, overwrite or even delete.

Thanks to the built-in presets it is possible to cleanly restore an old backup, automatically deleting any unnecessary save files, also using the delete save preset you will get the total removal of the current game save.
Useful if you want to restart the game from the beginning, but the game does not offer such a feature.

The second addition in the update is the introduction of Cloud Override, a system to force the game platform to synchronize the restored save (or the absence of the save) to the cloud, in order to prevent the old save from being re-downloaded from the cloud.
Thanks to Cloud Override it will no longer be necessary to deactivate the cloud function in the game platform to delete the save or restore an old one with fewer files.

Save Slots only or also Checkpoint Saves?

Specifically Doom 2016. I went through a door and the door locked behind me with no way to get back and the game performed a checkpoint save. But I had not found all the secrets. Would your software allow me to a) perform a manual save before going thru the door or b) return to the previous checkpoint save?...

Update 1.31

EasySave Backup version 1.31 adds compatibility with the GameSave Manager database.

If you don't feel like adding definitions yourself, you can now access the large pool of definitions available in GameSave Manager. To do this, place the GameSave Manager "games.db" file in the EasySave Backup main folder, and select "import" in the EasySave Backup database section after have selected the game you are interested in importing the definitions.
The "games.db" file can be taken from a GameSave Manager installation or downloaded from the program's website.

Important notice :
EasySave Backup is in no way affiliated with GameSave Manager. Compatibility between the two systems is offered only as an additional option. The correct functioning of the definitions present in GameSave Manager cannot therefore be guaranteed.
For the same reason EasySave Backup has no right to include or redistribute the "games.db" file, which must necessarily be taken from the official source.

Update 1.30

Snapshots... snapshot? Snapshot !

With EasySave Backup 1.30 it is now possible to make quick backups using a combination of keys (hotkey), without having to exit the game.
This gives you the ability to create snapshots of your saves, or "restore points" of what the game have saved up to that moment whenever you want.
An hotkey has also been added to enable or disable a sound alert every time the game saves.

Keyboard shortcuts can be changed and globally enabled in the options page, or can be enabled / disabled for each individual game.

Other changes in version 1.30 concern the automatic discarding of duplicate backups (a backup will no longer be saved if identical to the previous one) and the addition of a color scheme editor.

EasySave Backup can back up 99% (*) (**) of existing games. (*) It's not possible to backup saves stored exclusively on online servers. (**) Currently it is not possible to backup or restore saves in the system registry. Compatibility for these games will be extended in a future update. I tend to find quite a lot of my save games or certainly some type of important progress type data stored within the registry I think 99% a bit of an exaggeration, tho if this gets added in the future then its probably mor...
