This game is sadly unplayable on guitar for me (and I doubt I'm the only person) as I play guitar hero with lefty flip enabled. Adding this mode would make the demo playable.

The game says I need to hold down Shift to aim, but most of the time, the dude shoots at the mouse pointer even if I’m not holding down Shift. I’m not complaining, at least about that, I think the dude should always shoot at the mouse pointer without needing to hold down Shift. What I am complaining about is that, every once in a while, the dude shoots straight ahead instead of at the mouse pointer when I’m not holding Shift.
