Humanoid Avali Simpler

This is the simpler version of: http://steamproxy.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1337552863

This is a sprite replacement mod that needs Avali installed to work. Changes the body and arms to fit the standard humanoid figure. I have done my best to convert ALL Avali clothes to fit this new body. If something looks a little off or missing, please let me know.

You can use this mod with existing characters, and your clothes will be auto changed to the new humanoid appearance. You can remove this mod at any time without issue.

Original, Version1, Simple Version, Simple Clothed

WakcyJackie the reason for this is starbound clothing are just another layer to the character model and therefore when you have clothes that dont fit for example modded items, it makes the arms of the character break and have a bunch of clipping issues which ruins immersion. Honestly it just has the clothes sleeve animation play separate of the arm which can cause a lot of visual issues and some people cant stand that they cant dress avali in non-avali clothing or vice versa just because the game engine doesn't know the difference. That is to say, people should have the right to "fix" an engine mistake of the games devs and the modders oversight to allow for playing like a true fashion star you are.

Why take away what makes a species unique, I personally like the none humanoid Avali. I would like to see more races with none humanoid builds, would make it a lot more interesting.

The sleeves still don't seem to work, sadly. Any word on that?

though i dont think the secondary color should be removed

i didnt like the avali because i felt they where overdesigned

i don't like how avali look. as well as i don't like how novakids look. but i would like to see avali as vanilla race because they have nice tiles and techs.

There are variations...like base anatomy in simpler ver.
Avali is great, but many authors take for granted you have them and play them exclusively.

"The ones who want it so badly to become a real vanilla race" Well isn't that what these mods are doing? (or well, bringing it much closer to). Taking the diffrent anatomy of their bodies and makign them match up with the bodies of the vanilla races?

@Umbro
I was expecting that, but its been surprisingly postive generally speaking.

People who use the avali mod waaayy to much (like, you know the ones. The ones who want so badly for it to become a real SB vannilia race, they have mods that cause it to over-shadow the already put-in races.) are going to be angry at this. I garentee it.
