1. You may only have one primary and one secondary base (i.e. one that houses land dinosaurs and another that's a water pen). This is to prevent large tribes from claiming too much land.
   
   
2. You can not, under any circumstances, put down foundations to claim land. If you plan on claiming land, use pillars. Your claim only lasts for 5 days - if you haven't built a base by then, the pillars will be removed.
   
   
3. Do not engage in any form of griefing.
   
   
4. Do not build on/around artifact caves or important resource clusters.

Why doesn't this server use a Total Conversion mod like Extinction Core or Annunaki Genesis?
We haven't had many good experiences with Total Conversions, and we also wanted to reduce the amount of time it takes for our players to load into the server. Total Conversions add 5-10 minutes to load times purely by being Total Conversions.

Here at Voltage Gaming, we’re interested in keeping the gameplay fair and entertaining for everyone. We want to try and prevent the many problems people have with the Official servers, such as one huge tribe systematically destroying everyone and killing new players/tames. These kind of problems make people leave and eventually leads to the death of a server. Below are the set of rules to try and keep the idea of competitive fun alive.

Instant ban for the following:

• Using Hacks
  
• Using Bots
  
• Using Exploits

Everyone is held to a 3 strike system - First offense will be a verbal warning to the individual. Second offense will be a verbal warning to the individual and the tribe. Third offense will warrant a decision made by an admin for punishment based on the offenses

• Follow all official rules - Click HERE to read those
  
• No Base Raids On Weekdays - In the interest of keeping this server PvP oriented without the limits of a PvE/PvP cycle all forms of PvP are allowed, unless otherwise stated in the rules below, except for base raiding. The weekend raiding will officially start on Friday at 6am PST and will last until Monday at 6am PST. This allows three full days to siege a base. Please see the “War exclusion” to this rule.
  
• In Regards To Base Raids - You may break into another tribe/players base to acquire resources for yourself/your tribe and may break as much as needed to acquire resources. Refrain from the crippling or leveling of other players bases as this causes a very caustic environment and spiteful behavior. This rule applies to a tribe's "Main" base, if they have outlying bases they may be wiped without refrain and are not protected as they are entirely additive to a tribe's territory. Cave bases or unnecessarily large bases (Ask an appropriate admin before deeming something such) are not protected and may be raided to the fullest of your abilities at any given time.
  
• War Exclusion Rule - When two or more tribes all mutually agree to engage in PvP outside of the weekend, they may do so. All participating tribes MUST all agree and talk to the appropriate admin prior to engaging in any contact. Tribes that willingly participate will be knowingly agreeing that all base raiding rules will no longer apply to them. Alliances are assumed to not be participating unless specifically stated otherwise by the leader of the respective tribe. Wars shall be required to be active for at least three days and will only end when one or more participants surrenders. After a tribe surrenders all aggression must stop between warring parties for at least two days regardless weekday/weekend status. Under no circumstances will admins replace anything lost during a war
  
• No storing dinosaurs, items, or survivors in obelisks for extended periods of time - This includes anything stored for more than 2 days
  
• No Inappropriate Survivor Names/Tribe Names/Dino Names – This includes, but is not limited to, hate speech, derogatory terms, and racist remarks - Any names found to be a breach of this rule by an admin will be asked to change the name within 24 hours, if this is not done you will be given a strike
  
• No Griefing – Things such as keeping a player locked in a cage for more than an hour, placing structures for no other purpose than to disallow building there, surrounding a base with turrets/dinos/spike walls/ etc. Unless otherwise for a tactical advantage/staging area during a siege and when the siege is over it must all be taken down
  
• Pillar Spamming - If you pillar spam an area you intend to build on, then you have 48 hours to build. After a 48 hour period, any area that is not built on will have pillars removed by an admin and you will gain a strike.
  
• No Blocking Obelisks or Artifact Caves – Allow access to the obelisk itself and any resources around them. Artifact caves can be built in, but you cannot block access to the artifacts
  
• No Spamming Chat, No Racist Comments
  
• Do Not Kill New Players – Give new players a chance. This is the only way our community will grow and keep the game entertaining. Help any new players if you can. An exception to this rule is when a new player attacks you
  
• No Holding A Tribe Down – Do not sit outside of a tribe’s base and prevent them from entering/exiting their base. The exception is when you are sieging their base

These rules are a living document and subject to change without warning - All rules when changed will be posted in General chat and on Discord. If you have any questions or concerns about the rules contact an admin

ADMIN RULES

Admins play by the same rules as you and will be punished just like a regular player. Below are a set of standards for any Admin playing.

• Console commands will NEVER be used for personal gain/use, or for anyone else’s use/gain.
  
• All admin actions will be transparent and honest. Command logging is ALWAYS on.
  
• Favoritism is not allowed. All players will be treated equally.
  
• Admins will NOT be abusive regardless of the situation.
  
• Admins will fix glitched dinosaurs and any loss of items from glitches (such as falling through the ground) if, and ONLY if, proof is provided.

• Q: Will the server ever be wiped?
  
• A: Absolutely not. The only time a wipe will happen is if it's required by the game, or if a very large majority of players desire it. We take wipes very seriously and never want players to lose progress they’ve worked so hard to make.
  
  
• Q: I was playing on another server and the admin just gave up/stopped paying – Will that happen here?
  
• A: No. This server is prepaid for the next year, and will continue to be funded beyond that.
  
  
• Q: Will there be admin abuse?
  
• A: ABSOLUTELY not. Admin command logging will always be on. - There is currently a problem with this that is being worked on

PvP Rules:

- Don't use hack/exploits or any other things that gives your unfair advantage over other players cause that will get you permabanned from the server.

- Don't raid lower tribes who just started or have nothing to defend themselves with for 21 days and don't raid people with stone base that counts to lower category aswell.

- Don't beg for stuff, swear or call other people names.

- Don't block dinos spawns with foundations/pillars.

- Don't block other players from building or you will get a warning, 2nd time 1 day ban and if you do it again for the 3rd time you will get permabanned from the server.

- Don't build on floating islands/temples cause they will be used for events.

- Don't abuse photon sentries to kill bosses of pugnacia, that is too easy and will get you in trouble, 1st time is a warning, 2nd kick, 3rd ban for 3 days and on the 4th time you will get permabanned from the server.

- Don't throw wild animals into other people's bases.

- Don't kill other player's tame. 1st time is a warning, 2nd time is a 1 day ban and if you do it again for the 3rd time will get you permabanned from the server!

- Do not kill passive tamed dinos! or you will get banned for 1 day and if you do it again you will get permabanned from the server!
