The security guard right at the beginning of We've Got Hostiles is an error model with a floating gun

Edit: Going to reinstall all of my addons and only use the ones essential for this mod to see if it fixes

How are the animations broken? It's the standard guard's model there. No animations were edited in this addon (except compability patch for BM: Military and even so there only HECU animations file was edited).

It could be another addon. I wonder if this is incompatible with Improved Choreography

I use it together with Improved Choreography. It works for me, so there shouldn't be any problems.

Are the grunts supposed to have no helmets like all of them?

No, they are supposed to mostly wear helmets or other headwear like beanie and etc. Did you install everything correctly?
Having issues installing these on bmmilitary, i did what it asked and still nothing.
It says override the character_manifest in bmmilitary but i dont know where to go besides the bmce itself.

does it have to do with me not starting the mod from the .bat file but rather custom launching from the base game?

Just put all required addons in custom folder of bmmilitary (create folder "custom" in bmmilitary folder) in strict order. Can't know about custom launching from the base game, I use separate exe for BM:Military.

I actually did do that. it was in its own custom. maybe something to do with the base game? because i have mp5 C_hands for gordon freeman in the campaign and i never put those in bmmilitary custom folder.

That's weird... You're not supposed to have Gordon's hands in BM Military campaign. Maybe mods conflict.

It's perhaps because my computer refuses to launch the game as a .bat file and i have to code "-game bmmilitary" under the bms launch properties to even open it up. so maybe the key is being able to launch it by itself.

Good* news is your extension works in main bms *but some non hecu characters glitch and look stretchy with fleshy looking clothing.

sorry, im getting off topic. do you know how to configure a windows 11 to launch a .bat file like a game? because for me, it only opens up the .bat panel then shuts off....

I don't know how to do this. I personally create bms.exe and add -game bmmilitary in its properties to launch different Black Mesa mods. So it looks like that: ".....steamapps\common\Black Mesa\bms.exe" -game bmmilitary"
