Answering all of your questions
Yes you can reverse it back to a prop, it only turns it into a prop, and no it is not a tool with the tool gun
The explosion prop is called explosion.mdl (nvm its splode.mdl, you need hl2 maybe)
The portal prop is unknown

It's in normal gmod assets i think, just search up explosion in spawnlists.

Try using the superfreeze addon.

Hi there! Do you know of a tool that functions in reverse? like a prop to effect tool? or is this possible with your version of the tool, and I just didn't read properly.

How does the reverse function work? (turning a prop that was originally a prop into an effect)

Go to the context menu (hold c down) then right click on the object, then click the physics option.

What is this for exactly other than adding physics to effects, like what benefits are there

It's mainly for animating or posing. Or if you just want to have physics on alot of stuff

This doesn't work on objects that are not originally entities. Is there an option to enable this?

Sadly, no. The creator (most likely) can't do that.
