-if going at high enough speeds on a road civilian cars can spawn INSIDE your car, sometimes resulting in a lot of explosions because arma
Yeah cities/towns/villages dynamically spawn up and despawn when you move far enough away. I can tweak some values to reduce "pop in", in my personal playing it hasnt been too big of a problem but WIP.
-carried cash or drugs and so on do not drop on death anymore (intended or not idk)
Still thinking about respawning mechanics that work well for PvP & PvE
-civilians cannot be interacted with at all and dont drop valuables anymore

-gangster and police weapons now drop (which they didnt previously so idk)

Adding some tasks to make it more clear. But right now they don't really "fail" or "complete" just when you leave they will despawn.

I added some updated help text and tasks that should be more clear. But its evolving so help will probably be wrong until its more finished.
-people can respawn on their own dead body (very glad for that rn due to some bugs)
-the revive system seems fully bugged, people tend to just either straight up die or the default arma revive system kicks in and once revived the money hud and so on just disappear

Intentional for now. A lot of code that didn't add much gameplay IMO. You are not hostile to police unless you kill someone however.

Intentional for now. Malwart(s) should all have uniforms at the moment. More shops to come. Also shady has additional weapons now.

-this one idk if its our side due to mods but bodies seem to sink into the floor and despawn fast, not sure if that's a scenario thing or mod issues on our side
Arma thing probably.. There is also server side option for how long bodies last. But I'm despawning dead bodies/loot crates after leaving a mission area
minor suggestion also, there is an art of war DLC now or something where suits are an actual outfit wink wink nudge nudge puttin the payday in arma

things aside this gamemode is pretty wacky but damn fun, bless
on the speedy car civie pop-in, it only really happens when you use the really fast cars like SUVs or jeeps and require you to go at like 180km/h so its not common but still can easily happen once a session, give those cars a try its kinda funny when it happens
on civilians though on one hand my inner evil goblin channels seeing them so not being able to steal their million phones truly is a tragedy but completely understandable, however their AI rodeo is absolutely beautiful, even if they dont necessarily add up to gameplay right now they love just driving around crashing into buildings and each other while sometimes blowing up and its magical everytime, the squad has even taken a liking to shooting random passerbys due to there not being a penalty for doing so (we arent complaining tho)
on stores, none of the stores sell bags anymore so it'd be appreciated if any or even the gas station one had the hunting bag or something, since right now this prevents some guns like the LMGs to get reloaded due to their mags being ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ huge
for the police detection stuff, could there be an indicator or a message for how long you still can be "spotted" after killing stuff? its good info to have otherwise getaways could be messy
on stuff despawn, would it be possible to have a scenario setting to increase/decrease the range and/or the despawn timer that towns or missions despawn at? we've noticed things despawning after around 300m (which i do have to mention performance is really good) but there's the issue that sometimes you wanna drive from point A to point B for a reason or another and a mission appears on the way and activates itself and if you cant stop it just gets despawned and canceled
oh and i noticed there's a testing group, is that still alive at all or are all the servers down?
-Added watch selling to pawn shop. So I guess you can collect watches from dead bad guys and civs if you want to have another economy type besides drugs

I have a server at 181.215.243.201:2302 where I'm testing and playing sometimes
-once you spawn in and it loads your last equipment (which is honestly really nice) on the dedicated it seems to ♥♥♥♥ with my money, everytime i spawn in i see my normal banked money amount then once it syncs gear it goes to 0 no matter what, same when i rejoin it goes from showing my money to 0, mind you this whole thing did not occur the first time i spawned which i assume is because i didnt have equipment to load
-money saving may be a bit borked as well, during the session we played i was at 600k banked and bought a safehouse for 100k, then once i found out about the above issue it was back at 600k instead of 500k
-if you abort or go back to lobby when killed you will keep your gear excluding your rifle for some reasons
-hideouts are a bit broke? bought one on the server, left and rejoined and i couldnt find it anymore no matter what, but then i hosted on my own and its there, seem to be a lot of dedicated/clienthost oddities
-equipment does not save on self-host or singleplayer, is it dedicated only?
-havent found any other mission than drug cook, drug warehouse and gang safehouse, are the others WIP due to rewrite or not in rotation?
-random hardhats on the floor in cities
-you might be able to gain infamy due to NPCs killing each other (gangsters vs cops)
dedicated might've run a different version than latest workshop, i may be dum
god i love spawning into a town and instantly hearing an explosion or two
a few crumbs of suggestions
-would it be possible to bring back vehicle or weapon hideouts? stashing some things away would be handy since the price of stuff is pretty high now or even a way to buy things from there, a way to clear infamy off there, and something so friends can spawn there too
-a way to fast travel would also be really handy since missions can spawn really far away rn and there's only 1 shady market
-suits at good ol malwart (there's no way they dont sell cheap ass horrible suits)
-maybe a way to know if police is on its way or a way to delay them so high infamies arent instakill
-a way to prevent no-revive instakills even though i assume its probably near-impossible due to arma being arma, or just a way to respawn at the same spot with your gear on if an ally can interact with your body (close enough)
-give the advanced movement mod a shot on your server because its really ♥♥♥♥♥♥ good

Heres current plan for persistence:
-Money in hand is dropped when you disconnect
-Money in bank is saved, but there's a 20% launder fee
-Gear is saved but it only works on dedicated due to engine limitation
-Higher tier missions are only found from intel when your infamy is higher ( 2 or more ). Still thinking about mission spawning/intel

Fast travel I've considered.. not sure ATM because I do want ppl to actually drive or use vehicles to get around
maybe suits, I've avoided adding DLC things that players can buy so far but will consider
In old version I had last stand/bleedout thing, I always felt it was kind of confusing/buggy and never fit the experience too well. Maybe I can always send to the revive thing even when killed
honestly its pretty hard to survive higher infamies especially with those AI instakills, maybe adding higher tier intel from shady shops for a larger sum would work
traveling around the place can be nice but sometimes you're on the left side of the map and the only mission you have is on the complete opposite from you and you end up driving like 5km or someshit, airport could do for very long distances
on dlcs this map already requires the apex DLC just for tanoa (are the apex weapons in? idk what is and isnt dlc anymore), and suits would be cosmetic anyway so they shouldnt bother people too much, a few of them go for 2 bucks nowadays too like karts and the suit one
for revives anything is fine as long as it can somewhat mitigate those arma instakills enough to have fun and not just die from police officer urist mcaltis with his revolver 400m away
also the bank overwrite issue was indeed fixed HOWEVER having any banked money updates on the server will overwrite the client's banked money entirely, as in my 1.2mil i racked solo has been overwritten to the 2k$ i have on the server once i deposited 400$ in there
and oh god i dunno how to feel about the HALO spawns, especially since i spawned on the bottom right island and the only intel i got actually spawned a mission on the top of the top island
also there seems to be a chopper drug intercept mission that's been spawned since i joined, like not just intel it has an objective with it, and when i reached it there was nothing at all and leaving does not finish it altho i did see like a guy in a dead-in-vehicle animation for a split second
also holy ♥♥♥♥ if another cop or gangster double taps me and instantly kills me through a bush 100m away all the way through my carrier rig i am going to implode
buying new vests or helmets and so on delete your old equipped item (including whatever it contains if it can hold items)
