Not a bug persay, but a suggestion or two for balancing / loot tables!

1. I LOVE how the grocery store has a clear butcher's section & a fruit section. If it's possible, you can definitely increase the amount of loot those two areas spawn; I had 3 chunks of meat spawn in all 25 (around 12%) of those freezer loot spots + the butcher section, and 13 baked goods in the 16 (around 80%) lootable spots of the bakery section. Maybe you can jerryrig it by enabling hunting/fishing/foraging loot in those? Or sneak a dairy section into the fruit?

2. It'd be awesome if those small stores in the middle of the mall had loot tables.. so the flower store might have gardening stuff in it, or the coffee spot might have coffee.

3. The grocery store stands in the IKEA-esque restaurant don't have loot tables assigned from what I can tell (it spawned 5 nails).

Lovin' the map mate; lots to explore!

Thanks for the feedback! 2 and 3 can be easily fixed. For 1, I was trying to the keep this mod vanilla (means no modified lua data), and the vanilla loot table data has really low meat spawn for the butcher displays and freezers, which is a big bummer as even on the highest spawn rate the displays would only have few meats on them. And the vanilla data don't have loot table for fishing and foraging stuff yet, sadly. For the dairy section, the refrigerated racks on the top corner actually uses the Pile O Crepe kitchen's loot table, so it have a lot milks and eggs, it is the closest I can get to a dairy section with the vanilla data.

Ohhh, I see. I don't have any modding knowledge myself, so wasn't sure how that all worked.

Pure speculation, but perhaps labeling some of those fridges with FruitBushA or FruitBushB or C or D might do the trick?

Or labeling a few fridges in the meat/deli section as "SpiffoKitchen" might do it? Unless that'd spawn in a bunch of napkins & crap :(

Unfortunately, that's not how the vanilla game mechanics works, the game data has some specific loot tables that created by the devs, and I can only choose from the existing loot tables. I could solve this problem in the future if I decided to use custom lua data. SpiffoKitchen loot table only has burger, fried chicken and chicken spawn for freezers at a very low rate, it will make the freezers have even less meat, sadly.

Minor areas that don't have loot tables:

In the party building outside the mall, the first floor's reception area

The pizza joint in the same outdoor mall area doesn't have the pizza spawn table for Pizza Whirleds

Random, but I wish the party building had booze in it - maybe the reception area can also be a bar? The outdoor mall's cool!

Minor bug: when using the stairs to get to the third story of the Seahorse Coffee from the 2nd floor, the righthand staircase doesn't work b/c of the planter under it

And lastly, 3 ideas for future additions to areas around the mall:

1. A greenhouse. You know how you drive by a Lowe's or Home Depot in the summer & see a random greenhouse over to the side of it, somewhere in the parking lot, that sells in-season flowers? One of those!

2. An American flag / fireworks stand. The zombie apocalypse starts on July 1st after all... somebody might be selling lots of patriotic stuff before the 4th of July weekend.

3. A random theme park ride. Some municipalities & malls have small 4th of July fairs in their mall parking lots. Usually it's just a ride or two, surrounded by traffic cones so nobody drives in on accident.

I think i doesnt work in multiplayer. I wanted to play it on a own server with a friend, but to spawn there is not possible
Xonic  [developer] 25 Apr, 2019 @ 7:51pm
The loot table for the bowling hall is "restaurant", the reception desks would have pens and books, the shelves behind them would have some drinks (sometimes whiskey)with low spawn rate.

Changed the Pizza Whirleds next to bowling hall to "pizza kitchen" loot table now.

Removed the planter under the stair.

Add a greenhouse next tot the mall.

There are not enough proper tiles/furniture to make a firework stand or park ride though.

For multiplayer issue I don't know how to solve it as I don't code, but you can spawn in Muldraugh and drive to the mall.

Ah ok. Where is the mall there? North, West, South or East`?

Awesome Xonic! Pardon all these comments/reports; I'm loving this map WAY too much for my own good. Amphibious Amphibian is doing a LP on this map, by the way, on YouTube.

The mall is located along the highway between West Point and Muldraugh

Don't worry Mark, I'm so glad that you love this map as I do! I'm communicating with Amphibious Amphibian in his series, the series is attracting a lot of people to his channel right now, and the first episode is close to 6k view atm

I went to the mall yesterday where I live and:

There was a lot of very big stores connected to it like target or a Scheels. Maybe add very big
stores next to it maybe?
