Hi, I'm here again after thoroughly analyzing these katanas, and I'm going to talk about their abilities and compatibilities, the mods I've used are the following:

- Procedural Katanas (obviously, the main mod here and it's my favorite)
- Frackin 'Universe (in terms of katanas it is the most direct rival)

First of all let's talk about procedural katanas (PK for short), as the name says they are randomly generated katanas, capable of delivering a 9-hit combo against your opponent that quickly depletes the opponent's health. like the broadsword it has a set of skills. and of course there are 3 types, common, uncommon and rare, the latter being the ones with the greatest repertoire of skills.

On the side of Frackin 'Universe (FU for short), the katanas of this mod are made with rare materials, and the amount of blows they can do vary, they are exclusive to each weapon but they vary from between 3 to 12, all are of the unique type.

Testing the speed of the combos of both mods, it is observed that FU's are faster, however they require a cooldown time before attacking again, PK's is slightly slower, but they don't have a cooldown time to start a new attack.

All PK katanas are 2-handed, however they have a great repertoire of skills, which increases with the rarity of the weapon, in FU there are 1-handed and 2-handed katanas but the latter have few skills, only parry with the only one. With the exception of the solarium katana that has a devastating ability, however Fu has more elemental attacks and some of them are special elementals (such as silver or hellfire that cause bleeding and magma damage respectively) in addition to having armor that improves the power of the katanas (eye, they affect the katanas of Pk too XD)

Now in matters of obtaining, to date the only way to obtain a PK kanata is through a Challenge door, which is not very difficult to find since on all planets there are at least 5 of that in the smallest And as far as I know, a new one appears inside the caverns, the only problem is knowing where.

For its part, FU's katanas are manufactured, that is not a problem at first, but for the most powerful it requires exploring several planets and getting rare materials, even in some you must investigate alloys and manufacture the material before making the katana that if it hurts To be 2-handed, it will only have parry skill (unless you do the solarium, I do not tell you how difficult it is to obtain that material.)

In conclusion PK is by many aspects a better katana mod, it has a decent combo and a great repertoire of skills (my favorites are elemental kunai, flurry and super spin slash) the giant of the FU is not a bad option the advantage of being able to use One-handed katanas and their special armor distributions should not be underestimated, but if you want something more vanilla, PK is undoubtedly the winner.
