Legacy Warly as a seperate mod
Will that be a thing? I really like this version of him, but I'd like to play him outside the shipwrecked mode, and like, I know there are some world settings to make a normal world and still use Legacy Warly, but it's kinda confusing for me as to which settings do what, even with descriptions and also everyone who'd play with me would have to download the entire mod, so a lot of data which isn't needed for what I wanna do.

I don't really expect it to be a thing, so if someone could please tell me which options in the mod are the closest to launching a normal world, that would be really cool.

Actually, I can't find any settings for world changing to classic one, but I swear there were some before so now I'm confused

All you would need to do is change your world presets!
When enabling this mod, it's automatically set to "Shipwrecked", and your caves automatically set to "Volcano". All you need to do is choose the presets for "Survival" and "The Caves" respectively.

As for making Legacy Warly a separate mod, we haven't thought about it. It could be worth considering if people like our version enough!

Alright, thanks a lot, I skipped over the world generation part now and I guess didn't before and that's where the confusion arised.

Oh, yeah, Warly recipes use Limestone for the pot now, which I don't know how to get in a normal world or if it's even possible, any ideas?

There is not, sorry. Legacy Warly was designed with SW in mind. I'll see about revisiting his recipes to fix this.
The only way I can imagine you'd be able to get the materials in a Forest world right now is by having a friend play Woodlegs to spawn treasures that may have cloth and stuff that's made with coral/limestone.

Maybe a config option to either not replace it or replace the limestone with marble and cloth with papyrus?

I went ahead and changed the recipe. Limestone has been swapped with Cut Stone, and Cloth with Silk. Expect to see it in the next update or two. :DSTtophat:

Thank you very much! Truly appreciated!

So I saw that the new recipe was added, but I have no idea how to change it - there is no config option in the mod and it doesn't change itself, it's still limestone. I could overlook something, but I have no idea. Any help?

Did you make sure to enable Legacy Warly via the mod settings? The recipe change is only on that config.

I did enable Legacy Warly. Even tried to switch that option off and on again. I am also sure it does work, because crafting for his items is changed, it just still uses Limestone.

That's extremely odd, cause I personally made the change to his recipes months ago. I'll look into it, thanks.

I even looked inside the mod's files (what I did may prove nothing cuz I don't know how this works at all) and ctrl+f searched recipes inside the mod's files for cutstone replacement and there is no cutstone version for any circumstance and the current one is the previous one. I thought I have an old version, so I deleted all the files and unsubbed, then subbed again to force an update, and it also changed nothing.

I found the issue. My fix from May was somehow reverted. I fixed it again, expect an update today.

Thank you so much, I really hope I wasn't annoying, because realistically I'm probably the only person who needs this, but I'm really thankful for your time and willingness to help.
