BUG: Muslims can't change gender laws at all with this mod
BUG: Muslim characters (and possibly aztecs, hordes and tribes) lose access to gender laws with full woman status when this mod is active.
-Reason: line 1001 and onwards of "succession_laws" requires that the character has to not be a patrician OR their liege has to have cognatic or agnatic-cognatic (in the original file). This mod removes the "not patrcian" line which means that the only way for those characters to change gender laws is to be vassals of people with those gender laws active. (this is specifically about agnatic-cognatic, a similar line is also present with true_cognatic later on in the file)
-Fix: Removing that whole OR: part fixes it (should be about 5 lines+a bunch of brackets), this means that a character won't be able to change gender laws if their liege has but they themselves don't have the prerequisite women status laws but it's a quick fix. A separate higher level OR specific for those cases could be created to fix the bug without removing the ability for vassals to change laws if the liege changed them.

PS: Hope my message is at least readable, i just pulled an all-nighter and forgot how to construct simple sentences. If you need me to explain further just let me know!

Thanks for the heads up. I need to update the mod to the new CK2 version anyways it seems, so I'll definitely look into this.

Just saw this, during my time playing there are no laws for pagans either, at least old germanic, I assumed the changes were just automatic.

Full disclosure, I actually don't have the Swords of Islam DLC, so was unaware of this until now but, I don't think this is a bug. From what I've gathered Muslims simply do not have access to Gender Laws period - no matter the government type (Pagans similarly). I guess that is only fitting in context.

Unless the Gender Equality 'All' game-rule changes this?

This was true before the Conclave dlc, now they unlock the ability to change gender laws if they get to full women status even with the normal gender equality rule. Also if I read the code correctly the same bug applies to tribals and they were always able to change gender laws if I'm not mistaken (I can't really remeber how it works for hordes and have no clue about the aztec religion).
