I'm not even joking when I say this took about 10 times as much work as my previous ports. Let's hope it's worth it!

With that out of the way, let's get to this addon's description, taken from the mods official ModDB page:
Set in both the heart and outside of City 17, "The Citizen Returns" contains the final chapters of The Citizen's story, . The story takes place shortly after a failed assassination attempt on Dr. Breen leads to the first ever use of the Overwatch Broadcast system by The Resistance, represented by former garage owner Larry Soderstrom. The Combine forces decide to capture him and try to use his public repentance and execution as a means to appease the emergent rebellion. The Citizens of City 17 however have other ideas in mind. Larry is now a symbol for the rebellion and a key asset in a bigger plot to deal a fatal blow to the Combine and its grip on humankind...

Was neither designed or made by me. Not tested for multiplayer either, but go ahead and try! (Don't forget to give me a heads up on how it works out). Original Source mod on ModDB:

I couldn't find any copyright or trademark notices on the mod page, so I assumed it was O.K. to upload. Nonetheless, if either the original author, VALVe or any other authority wants this taken down, I will.

its semi broken, you need to have the scenes folder from the actual Citizen Returns Sourcemod imported into your Gmod directory, and even then, i cant seem to get the facial expressions to work, it says that the "Expressions' folder is missing, but that folder doesnt exist in the Citizen Returns firectory, even in a fresh downloaded one, and because the expressions dont work, neither do the voices, i mostly play this to try out Sweps in combat maps other than the default HL2 and episodic maps

You should really play the original mod for Half-Life 2 first. Don't worry, you don't need Half-Life 2 for the mod either. You need a source game, but Gmod qualifies. The maps are not in order, but this addon was meant for posing and sandbox uses, not the actual story. (The story is broken in gmod, anyway).

so, this is really confusing, honestly. are the parts in order on the maplist? does it require a gamemode? why dont doors open in the right places? help me, i know nothing else.
