Why Early Access?

“We are excited to put the power of DatavizVR in the hands of our users! Early Access will allow us to collect feedback from our participants and help us to optimize performance and add new features. Early Access participants will be able to communicate directly with our team on how DatavizVR can help them drill down and better analyze their data in this new dimension. They will be able to tell us what improvements they would like to see, and we will be able to help them with any performance issues. Early Access will give us a better understanding of what our users need, and allow us to create a better software package to meet those needs.”

Approximately how long will this software be in Early Access?

“We expect to release the Enterprise version of DatavizVR in Q1 2017. We will keep our users up to date on our expected time frame for release, and any difficulties that may arise.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Enterprise version of DatavizVR will showcase new features such as real-time data feeds, network collaboration tools, a presentation mode, as well as data filtering and clustering capabilities. We will also be implementing Augmented Reality support. We are committed to offering an unprecedented user experience when it comes to data visualization software. DatavizVR will open up an entire new world of data analytics and visual analysis by being simple, easy-to-use, and intuitive.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“DatavizVR is currently in beta and has limited functionality. While we thoroughly test our software, it will likely still contain a few bugs. As VR is still relatively new, we are currently evaluating potential hardware partners to ensure that our users receive a premium experience. We will use Early Access to benchmark and finalize the recommended specs for our software.”

Will this software be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Early Access participants will be able to use the software for free. When the Enterprise version is released next year, it will be priced at a competitive rate to ensure our users feel that it is a quality product at a good price.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will have forums where users can ask questions and meet other Early Access participants. We will also hold weekly feedback discussions which will allow us to answer questions, keep up with user concerns, and update participants as we go along. We are excited to work closely with our users so that we can continue to improve the most powerful data visualization tool on the planet.”
