Whenever i download workshop item or maps, it doesnt appear in the mod menu nor the actual map list ive tried everyting any help would be appreciated

I would like to play Black Ops III Zombies, but I heard there are a lot of security issues, so I stopped playing it for more than 1 year. Should I install some community patches? If I play this game again, it's gonna be only Normal and Custom Maps, solo or with friends....

I’ve been playing bo6 zombies recently and managed to complete the easter eggs on all the maps.
