“Star Crafter is CURRENTLY A FULLY COMPLETE EXPERIENCE that I'd be excited to release as a full release, BUT, it is a very unique game with endless possibilities for what could be added.
Star Crafter is my best game ever and has the perfect combination of the things I like, so it makes the most sense to keep improving and adding to it, since I have so many ideas for it still and I imagine it becoming so much bigger if players are interested (and I really hope you are).
I love this game so much and I just want to keep improving and adding to it so I can play more and hopefully see many others play and enjoy it as well.
The game currently has about 20h+ of content. Please do not buy the game if you are not excited to play it at its current state, and feel free to try the free demo first.

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Currently the game already has more than enough content for a full release, but I want to keep improving and adding to it as long as there is community interest and ideas for updates. I think 3-12 months would probably it.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version will have more content with the ability to build new star systems, multiple dyson spheres, and different types of Dyson Spheres (such as metallic ones). Also potentially other Space Megastructures (Birch World, Death Star, Halo Worlds, etc), but much of this will depend on player interest in the game as these would be quite far end game content.

Things that'll NEVER happen:
- Combat
- Prioritization of accurate science over fun gameplay.”

“The community will have heavy involvement in the development of Star Crafter.

From early on, create entire planets, Dyson Rings, Dyson Sphere, and more, by crafting and building rockets and launchers.
Watch as the star system evolves into visually stunning, ever-changing views throughout your playthrough.

Mine resources using your mining laser on the surface of planets or deep underground.

Craft resources into advanced materials using many different workstations (smelters, fabricators, extractors, etc).
Terraform the terrain to make place for machines base building.
Explore and mine on newly crafted planets and moons to find new resources.
Expand your electricity grid by building many different energy generators.
Farm food to keep your character fed.
