About This Demo

Proton & Electron is an "electric" pixel-style platformer puzzle game. Set within a piece of electronic equipment corroded by antimatter, the story follows "Dr. Proton," who shrinks to the atomic level and enters the device. With the help of local creatures "Electron Sprites," he explores and repairs the machine. Players will control "Dr. Proton" and "Electron Sprite," utilizing their opposite electricities to solve puzzles, explore a mysterious micro-electronic world, and ultimately confront the antimatter boss.

Electromagnetism Has Never Been This Fun

The game introduces engaging, intuitive mechanics inspired by electromagnetism. No prior knowledge is required to dive into this adventure of electromagnetism. Unlike electromagnetic equations in books or exams that may have frustrated you, this game allows you to ask laws of electromagnetism to do your bidding!

Unique Dual-Character Cooperation

Proton and Electron must work together, using their abilities to help each other solve puzzles and overcome obstacles.

• Proton operates in a side-scrolling platformer style, allowing for movement and jumping across platforms.

• Electron follows a top-down perspective, defying gravity and gliding across metallic surfaces.

• Their electricities change as they interact, helping navigate and overcome various electromagnetic puzzles throughout the game.

A Mysterious, Micro-Electronic World

The demo contains around 30 puzzles, and the full release features over 150 puzzles, located inside various components within the electronic device. Players can explore four semi-open regions of the micro-electronic world, searching for scattered Electron Sprites and working to save the device from antimatter corruption.
