„While RETRO SOCCER is already a fun playable soccer game, as well as taking on boards player feedback there are some additional features I would like to add.

These include (but not limited to)
    [*More Teams to choose from][*Star players for each team][*More Tactics][*Player facial features][*Goal celebrations][*Goal net physics][*different AI play styles - (tiki-taka, hoof it)

Also I am a solo developer and I'd also love to hear any suggestions on how to improve the gameplay and any features you would like to see in a final release.“

„RETRO SOCCER is fully playable for one or more players with Friendlies, Cups and League tournaments. Each team has its own skill level which affects player speed, passing, shooting and more based on FIFA World Rankings as of 2024 so noobs can play as more skilled teams while skilled players can try their hand as a lower ranked team.“

Wird dieses Spiel während und nach Early Access unterschiedlich viel kosten?

„Yes. The price will start at a budget price and increase as features are added. This is to reflect that RETRO SOCCER is still in development and hopefully join us early on to help shape development.“

Wie werden Sie versuchen die Community in den Entwicklungsprozess miteinzubeziehen?

„As a solo developer I have to be mindful of the number of communication channels I use (so I can actually get some work done) so communication will be handled through the Steam Community forum for the game with updates also being posted on X (@PlasticCowGames)“

Retro Soccer is a highly playable well paced arcade action soccer game inspired by soccer games from the 90s like "Sensible Soccer" but with a fun low-poly 3d art style. Compete in friendlies, cups or league tournaments and classic tournaments such as the 86 World Cup, Euro 88 and more in single player or against friends in local multiplayer.

Play Modes:

  • Friendly Match

  • Cup Tournaments

  • League Tournaments

  • Classic Tournaments

  • Single or local multiplayer

Current features include:

  • Simple controls for easy to pickup casual players

  • Retro style gameplay with a fun visual style

  • Slick passing, Slide tackles, diving headers and rasping shots

  • Challenging AI with team skill based on FIFA World Rankings

  • Change your formations and tactics
