“After participating in Steam Next Fest, we received tons of valuable feedback from players. By launching in Early Access, we hope to gather even more input while getting the game into the hands of eager players sooner. Don’t worry—Aotenjo is already a fully playable game with a well-defined gameplay loop, so players looking for a solid experience can dive in right away.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We’re focused on improving the player experience and plan to refine and expand Aotenjo over the next year, with the goal of bringing it to a polished, full release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“In addition to fixing bugs and optimizing the gameplay experience, we plan to introduce more content throughout Early Access. This includes 16 unique decks, more gadgets, artifacts, and tile upgrades, offering even greater variety and strategic possibilities.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version of Aotenjo launches with:
  • 6 starting decks, each with unique artifacts for a completely distinct gameplay experience.
  • 185 artifacts, 102 Patterns, and 21 tile upgrades across 3 sets.
  • 8 progression levels to challenge your skills.
Additionally, we’ve revamped the game’s UI/UX and visuals based on player feedback to deliver a more polished experience.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The current price reflects the game’s early development state and serves as a thank-you to players supporting us during Early Access. As we expand the content and polish the game further, the price may change with the full release.”

Aotenjo's levels are seeded to generate new Artifacts, gadgets, and augments each time you play. No two runs are the same, ensuring a fresh and challenging experience with every game.
