About This Game

Goldenheart is a retro first person fantasy adventure game created by a dedicated team of two people. With a look and feel inspired by our favorite classic console titles, the game features engaging play which is both familiar and original. Play as an outsider and learn the lore of a foreign land as you progress through a deep story. Master a fun and dynamic combat style to defend yourself against challenging foes while uncovering secrets and solving puzzles through exploration and observation. Navigate tricky terrain and climb to perilous heights, rappel into deep caverns and explore them by torchlight, get lost in ancient labyrinthine ruins, and gain entrance to surreal and anomalous realms in Millenniapede's debut title, Goldenheart.

Enter Tuldenorrea:

You have entered an exotic land in the course of an expedition and become unintentionally involved in an otherworldly mystery. Tuldenorrea is a landscape inspired by the low, middle, and high deserts of the North American Southwest. A refreshingly earthly and deceptively simple world, balanced delicately between the extreme forces of a magical universe.

New adventure, classic gaming experience:

Fans of classic titles like Ocarina of Time, Metroid Prime, or King’s Field may appreciate the nostalgic spirit of Goldenheart. We recommend playing with a controller, but the game works equally well with keyboard and mouse thanks to a clever implementation of the old-school targeting system.

Goldenheart has a feel sort of like a fantasy RPG but without character leveling, classes, stats, loot, or gold coins. It instead focuses on the linear progression of the story and the development of the fantasy lore. From a role-playing point of view, it takes place over only several days.

From story mode to souls-like:

Goldenheart is designed so that all players should be able to finish a full playthrough once they select the correct difficulty setting for their play style. The difficulty settings range from “story” mode, suitable for casual and young players, up to “master” mode for an unforgiving souls-like experience. Aside from combat, the difficulty setting has minimal effect on the overall game experience.

Feature length adventure game:

Play time will vary but this is a feature length, streamlined adventure game with a linear story that says "The End" and waves goodbye when you finish. We don’t have data on this yet but from our in-house testing we currently believe it takes about 10 hours to complete Goldenheart at a decent pace.
