Miksi Early Access?

I want to involve players as early as possible in the game's development to make sure it's fun and evolves in the right direction.

At this early stage it is also relatively easy to pivot on some of the mechanics if people believe that improvements could be made.

The game will remain in Early Access for at least 24 months. As I will be adding more factions and want to ensure the campaign delivers a compelling and polished experience.

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

I plan to add a campaign and continue to add more content to the survival mode. Extra content would include more units, aliens, buildings, skills, ship modules, biomes, captains and ships.

The game currently contains a survival mode, which I want to build upon throughout development. You can choose from some pre-made maps or play procedurally generated maps across three biomes. There are also a variety of unlockable captains and ships. Most of the human faction is available to play.

Since launch I have also added a meta-progression system and map editor.

Muuttuuko pelin hinta Early Access -vaiheen jälkeen?

I am planning to increase the price of the game some time after the second or third faction is released. Depending on the scope of the campaign there may be a further price increase at launch.
