Wozu Early Access?

„Being in Early Access means we can listen directly to players and implement changes to the game quickly to keep up with our community. Utilizing the community in that way, insures we develop the best game we possibly can. As we are planning for the game to be pretty big, this is a very important feature of early access.“

Wie lange wird dieses Spiel ungefähr den Early Access-Status haben?

„We plan to have Athos in early access for the better part of this year, as we flesh out what is expected of it from our community and hope to reach full release by mid 2024. That being said, it will depend on what feedback we get and how much needs to be changed, including bugs and polish, so this timeframe might vary.“

Wie soll sich die Vollversion von der Early Access-Version unterscheiden?

„We intend to increase the Dinosaurs availably in the final release as well as increase character level with content up to level 100. Additionally we plan to adding more world maps for players to explore in the full release. We also plan the final release to have player mod functionality for the community to further expand Athos.“

„We have a wide range of features already in the current version of the game and you can see them all listed under our description page.“

„We plan to gradually increase the price, dependent on the amount of new features and content we add for full release. At this stage, we don't expect a big increase as the core features has already been added.“

„We will be in constant dialogue with our community through Steam forums as well as our own Discord. We list new ideas from the community which we intend to do on our roadmap when we receive them.“

A towering T-Rex emerges from the jungle mist. Yet somehow… you’re not afraid. What truly unsettles you is the void in your mind—you remember nothing of who you were or what led you here.

Welcome to Athos, a primal world where dinosaurs never went extinct. Instead, they evolved alongside humanity, forging a brutal and beautiful land untouched by time. Shipwrecked and with no memory of your past, you must learn to survive in this savage wilderness. Gather resources, craft weapons, and tame powerful dinosaurs to stand by your side. As you grow stronger and carve out a life on this dangerous island, echoes of your forgotten past begin to resurface. Why did your ship crash? Why were you spared? And what ancient force slumbers beneath Athos, waiting to be awakened?

Upon starting, each player is dropped into the vast and diverse landscapes of the prehistoric world of Athos. The game world is teeming with various species of dinosaurs, from the towering Tyrannosaurus rex to the nimble Velociraptor. Armed with only primitive tools and their wits, players must quickly gather resources like wood, stone, and food to build shelters, craft weapons, and stay alive.

Surviving the game means facing the ever-present danger of dinosaurs. Some dinosaurs can be tamed and used as mounts, providing players with a distinct advantage, while others are relentless predators that require careful strategy to defeat. Players can team up to take down larger threats or go solo to hone their survival skills.

Throughout the game, players can collect blueprints and rare resources to craft more advanced weapons, armor, and tools. As players level up, they gain access to new abilities and skills that aid in combat and survival. Choose your playstyle and tailor your character to dominate the primordial landscape.
