Why Early Access?

“Wormtown is a game that will only get better with more people playing. We want to get it into the hands of players as early as possible to gain vital gameplay feedback, bug testing, and find out what the community wants for the future of the game.

We plan to consistently update Wormtown even after it's early access period, with new content, abilities, items, mechanics, cosmetics etc.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan to be in Early Access for approximately 8 months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Our planned vision for the 1.0 release of the game is simply more "Wormtown". We plan on more items, mechanics, character customization, polish and so on. We're happy with the base game we've created so far, and plan to add more variety on top of it to make every match feel unique and exciting.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“In it's current state, the core foundational loop of Wormtown is playable.

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan on increasing the price around 20% when Wormtown comes out of Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We'll be active in the Last Train 'Outta Wormtown Discord discussing our development roadmap and features we have planned, taking player feedback, gameplay ideas, bug reports, and general discussions about the game.
