왜 앞서 해보기를 하나요?

“Early access allows us the chance to develop along side the community, building what we love and being able to have you test it right away.

It's a lot of work to make a game, but we are committed to see our project through to full release with all our goals completed!

Ultimately we want to bring to you our very best, and with early access we believe we can do so.”

“We plan to have a completed game by mid to late 2024.”

“As time progresses we plan to update and have the game evolve, so if you were to play from day one Early Access, you simply might not recognise the game by full release due to what we add.

It'll still keep the core functionality at heart, it may just have a larger array of levels, character, weapons and maybe even vehicles.”

지금 앞서 해보기 버전은 어떤 상태인가요?

“Entrenched currently focus' on the PVP scene in our free for all deathmatch mode. This allows us to take on information from games played, such as our heatmap for levels where we can see where players are dying the most.

With character customisation, team battle modes and PVE planned we aim to focus on making the core gameplay features as solid as possible through rigorous testing and polish.

Currently we have multiple weapons to battle with, multiple maps (including greybox maps) and lots of community feedback to iron it all out.”

Welcome to Entrenched!


This First person shooter is set in a world where WW1 surpassed 1918, as we begin to enter the technologies of the 1920's and beyond.

Expanding on battlefield arenas never ventured for a WW1 game, we intend to open the creative doors to tell a story that breaks the boundary of what you would typically expect in a WW1 set game.




Gameplay:

  • PVP arenas are going to be our first game mode that you will be able to join in. This game mode will allow us to get information on our map designs and tweak them for future content to make sure we have the best layouts possible for the most fun experiences.

  • Team battle is planned to be one of our main call to arms in Entrenched. Our goal is to have Team game modes such as "Capture the flag" and Territory control" modes where teams of players can duke it out.

  • PVE is one of our longer term plans as we would like to have the option for the individual player who just enjoys to run and gun. Ideally we would like to reuse multiplayer maps to fit this game mode so the single player experience feels tied with the online one.
  • Character customization is something we really want to incorporate into our game to have every player feel unique and interesting.
  • Rewarded in game achievements is something we would like to focus on as well, with customization options opening the more you play.


What to expect from the developers?:

  • Maps- We are planning to be releasing and testing maps frequently for the multiplayer scene and developing on them.
  • Weapons- Due to our setting, we hope to bring a twist on the WW1 setting with a few experimental weapon ideas to through into the game and experiment with.
  • Communication- We want the audience to be able to communicate their ideas and feedback with ease via feeback forms and a direct contact on the VidovicArts Discord as our greatest moments in game development is when the community supports our projects.


Long Term plans:

  • Vehicles are one of our biggest plans to implement into Entrenched and we hope to incorporate them into our existing game modes and maps, but don't expect to see the average WW1 vehicular line up!

This game is currently in development within the "Unity" engine.
