This is a BIG DAY for us! We are releasing our first Gameplay Trailer for Vaultbreakers along with a new Playtest (live now!). On top of that, we are also announcing an investment partnership with a company we have always looked up to: Square Enix! 🙌

Vaultbreakers: July Playtest Next Week!

Hey everyone,

Join in on the fun with some new updates to the game! New NPC voicelines have been added to the game. We have also added new perks, gear, and items to cater to more creative builds! Patch Notes will be released shortly before the Playtest goes live. 🙌

All servers will be open for the playtest, and you can find the start and end dates below:

START: July 3rd, 9 AM CEST

END: July 9th, 11:59 PM CEST

We will drop a brand new gameplay trailer next week on July 3rd with a very exciting announcement to go with it - you don’t want to miss this! 👀

WHAT’S NEW?

Below is just a glimpse of what you’ll experience!

👥 SOLO & DUO QUEUES:

From this playtest, you will be able to choose either playing in solo or duo queues! So now you don’t have to worry about teams if you just want a solo experience, but you can also make it more challenging for yourself by playing solo in duo queues to make it more exciting! 🔥

🏠 HAVEN CHANGES:

The Haven is getting new upgrades! You will notice that the Haven (a.k.a the lobby) will be completely empty. Help Milloween and other NPCs to restore your Haven through quests and materials you need to rebuild.

🏘️Haven Base Building:

Below is also a sneak peek video of what you can expect to find in the next playtest. Yes, you will now be able to build up your base in the Haven through quests and the materials you need!

🪓Thora art goes hard!

Thora is charging into the game with her new art, which you will be able to see on our character select screen in the upcoming playtest. Our talented artist once again created this epic artwork. Definitely one of the coolest art pieces!

PVP penalty

Do you lose all gears when die or only the stuff in your bag? It will be hard pass for me if I lose all my hard farming gears. I don't want to farm for tens of hours just so I can lose it in 5 mins.

Tall grass, a stupid mechanic ?

Why in a format like "extraction" game, with a fixed camera from a top down prospective, do you need to have tall grass which hide players ? Its just a stupid mechanic, this is not a Moba, even if it resemble it for few reasons. Not being able to move the camera it could be fine if the map is well designed, this is not the case for one big reason >Tall grass everywhere in the map that screams > 50/50 an ambush, and by the time you try to use an item to have more vision or to reveal an enemy player, you ar...

JULY PLAYTEST EXTENSION

We’re adding one extra day to the Playtest! You’ll have extra time to finish up those quests and boss fights that you have been meaning to do.
