“We believe receiving feedback early as possible is the best way to make games. As our previous title, Shattered Hourglass, it took 8 years of feedback to build our ambitious dream JRPG. During the process we learned a valuable lesson, always listen to your community and be open to criticism.

Castle Greyrot is currently in Alpha, which means that we have a long way to build our game and plenty of space to grow. We want our supporters to be involved in the development such as providing feedback, suggestions and new ideas.”

Hvor lang tid vil dette spil være i tidlig adgang?

“Castle Greyrot will be in Early Access until we complete every chapter and feature available. We've been working on this project for over a year and we will need at least 12 months or even more.”

“We would like to expand Castle Greyrot's universe and make it grand. By grand, we plan to make the content quadrupled in size. Boss battles, playable story chapters, unlockable characters, and challenging content.

“On day one of the Early Access we have:

20+ Bosses to fight
2 Unlockable Characters
The first story chapter is 100% completed that includes 20 stages
The first 3 Adventures and the first Extreme Battle are playable.
Equipment, Merchant, Chat System is implemented
There are some secret stages to be found
All core Steam features such as Steam Cloud and Achievements are implemented.

Which is over 7 to 10 hours of content is available when we combine it all.
Every element of the game is polished and tested many times. We will continue adding new content regularly as the development continues.”

“Yes. Early Access price will be raised as we release new chapters and features.”

Balancing the game
We want Castle Greyrot as challenging as possible, full of unfair bosses and their gimmicks are the main thing. On the other hand, we want those fights to be balanced. We’re counting on the community to help us make it possible by polishing the hard edges.

Eliminate the bugs
We are working hard to make the game as bug-free as we can. However, our bug-free experience might not be the same for the other players. CRUSH THEM BUGS!

Suggestions
We are open to any idea that makes our game a better one. You can imagine us that we are a sponge and your ideas are the water.

Translations
Our final step is to localize the game to a wider audience. This one will be tough and will take so much time for us to make. We will let the community know that we need translators in the future.”

A Living, Breathing Castle

Legends say Castle Greyrot is alive, shifting its location every ten years and corrupting everything in its path. Filled with deadly traps, hidden treasures, and relentless foes, the Castle lures adventurers inside—only to feed on their souls.

Summoned as an experienced Commander, it’s your mission to lead a team of mercenaries into the depths of the Castle and eradicate the unknown evil lurking within.
