Why Early Access?

“The Alas Astra Free Game Demo is just the start of an epic science fiction adventure, set within a vast alien Ringworld.

Building such a huge space station and completing the Alas Astra video game has proven to be a task currently beyond the resources of our small team at Delta Video Games and so development on the game has now stopped.

But we did create this fully playable Demo of the Alas Astra game featuring some awesome gameplay and we want to share that demo with the world for Free.

This demo represents about 1 and 1/2 years of hard work from our small team, and we didn't want it to gather dust hidden on our hard disks. That's why we have made the decision to release the Alas Astra Game Demo for Free on Steam!”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Active development on Alas Astra is currently stopped.

Delta Video Games does not currently plan to continue development on Alas Astra, so it is possible that the game will remain in Early Access indefinitely.

If in the future, Deta Video Games gains the resources required to complete the Alas Astra game, then the game could possibly see a full release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Alas Astra Free Game Demo features about 30-60 minutes of exciting 3rd person science fiction third person shooter gameplay. There is one gameplay kevel with a variety of enemys and a boss fight. The game is fully playable, and we hope, a lot of fun!

However, the Alas Astra Free Game Demo lacks a lot of the features that are planned for the full release.

The Alas Astra full game is intended to feature:
- 9 Game Levels.
- An array of 8 powerful weapons.
- A Character upgrade and customisation system.
- And much more!”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Alas Astra Free Game Demo is a fully playable Sci-Fi Third Person action adventure game.

You play as a Robot Knight with a Power Sword, Plasma Gun and Jetpack.

This demo build features one whole game level with a variety of enemys and a boss fight.

The demo game provides about 30-60 minutes of exciting and daring action adventure gameplay!”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes.

The initial Early Access release of Alas Astra is being offered for Free.

If the game ever progresses to a a Full Release, then the Price will change to approximately $20.00.”
